Blaine County Courthouse 212 N Weigle Ave
The neo-classical Courthouse was built in 1906. The raised, stone foundation and brick walls are highlighted with classical ornamentation and a pedimented entry. The building is capped with a vaulted dome featuring eight oculi. The Courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Ferguson Chapel NE Corner 2nd and Weigle
Dedicated June 4, 1903, this is a one-story clapboard building, with an attic and a basement with an outside entrance. The roof is cross-gabled, and a bell tower rises on the southwest corner above the entrance. Triple windows on each side have arched fanlights above. The windows on either side of the entrance are single with pointed tops and contain stained glass. Fanlight windows in the attic also have stained glass. The bell tower has a wood cupola with four open sides with railings and contains a single bell.
This is a lovely peek into the past and a symbol of the strong religious foundation of the early settlers before statehood. It is the site of an Ice Cream Social each August, and an Old Fashioned Christmas in December. The church is also available for weddings, meetings and historical events. For information, or to have a tour of the building, call 580-623-5452.
T. B. Ferguson Home Museum 519 N Weigle
Relive the journey of one of the pioneers who helped to shape Oklahoma. The Ferguson home was built in 1901 and was home to Elva and T. B. Ferguson for the rest of their lives. After Elva's death in 1947 the house was sold and fell into disrepair. About twenty years later an effort began to see the home restored and turned into a museum, and on October 3rd, 1972 the T. B. Ferguson Museum opened its doors to the public. It is of course still open and free to the public, though donations are appreciated to pay for the expenses incurred maintaining this important historical site.

Posted by Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes Executive Office on Saturday, November 23, 2019 'When I ran for office that's one of the things I wanted to do is create a Parks and Recreation Department, there's a lot of things that we needed to bring about in the tribe, which are slowly evolving, we're doing a little at a time but it's time that we create this department so that we can have a full fledge number of people to look after it, cut it, paint it, whatever we got to do … for all of our tribal parks, all of our recreational areas and powwow grounds. We have to start progressing, and we'll bring more things in front of the tribal council so that we can progress,' Wassana said. The meeting adjourned at 11:54 a.m.T. B.
